Di Ode
Ode to Diode
Oh diode how great you've made life,
but why everyday do you give me strife?
I turn and toss, toss and turn,
making new circuits, but still you burn!
I know you're strong but I will resolve,
because I can burn you up all day long.
I burnt out ever diode string in the Dodge (80 diodes). I have to fix the diode issue. I soldered up another 80 diodes and have them in place. They are working well currently.
I got the reserve tank for the in-line hot water heater today and should have it mounted up and tested tomorrow.
I got my over drive pulley and tried to flip the alternator out today with no success. I'll work on it later.
I've almost finished 6 new tube cells that are have a 3 inch electrolysis area. I made 4 for the Dodge to replace the two 6 inch tube cells already there. And I made 2 tube cells for the Trooper. I inspected the one tube cell that broke and it can be repaired, just give me a few hours.
I'm going to buy another 100psi 12vdc fuel pump and 4 more misters from http://www.coolingmist.com/ on EBay. I worry that I having 8 misters on the Dodge is overkill so I'm going to install 2 more under the carb of the Dodge. I'm going to install 2 on the Trooper also, but only use 1 to start with. I'll use the second one if I need more power.
I have a lot installed on the Trooper and not much more and it should be converted to where the Dodge is very shortly. I'm going to skip out on the expensive electronics for the Trooper, just getting the misters, hose, a little water reserve, some relays and GET IT ON.
On Friday I'll be working on getting the tube cells back on the Dodge and doing some in-line heater testing. I'll also be mounting an exterior spark plug so I can see the plasma spark. I'm going to move down the size of my charging capacitor (currently 100uF/1000volt) down to something that will hopefully not get the diode string as hot (to a 40uF/2000volt).

Kevin,
I wonder if its a mistake to ADD the MISTERS UNDER the carburator !!! There are only 8 points where the Misters are suited to be and thats aligned with the cylinders ! TOO much water OR hydrogen in the WRONG PLACES,could OVERPOWER the Valves and cause warpage or cracks in the heads or Manifold, could'nt it ? Just remember that "TOO much of a good thing, usually causes problems".
Just my thoughts son....Love ya

would it be of help if you put a switch on each mister so you could control which an how many ?
